UNIVERSITY NAME

Shanghai University of International Business and Economics is formally called Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade (SIFT). Since 1960, SIFT has grown into a medium-sized, multi-disciplinary and business-oriented university with its own distinctive characteristics. The University confers bachelor's degrees in 32 specialities and master's degrees.With over 1000 faculty members and staff, SIFT educates a student population of over 10,000.

UNIVERSITY LOCATION

The subway station near from University is called Loushanguan Road, which is two stops after our subway station. The road to University is 45 minutes long, because of the change of subway line and the distance between each stop and the destination.

CULTURAL DIFFERENCIES IN THE CLASSROOM

The classroom depends on the courses. Actually I have chosen 4 courses, Basic Chinese, International Business Law, How to do business in China and Chinese Trading Simulation. There are a lot of French people in all of those courses, few Germans and some Dutch.
